Session 1. Earth Hour Guided Meditation & Sound Bath
In honour of Earth Hour and our sacred Earth, join me for a very special Sacred Earth Healing guided meditation that engages both individual and collective consciousness, as we let our hearts speak by spreading love, light, compassion and healing throughout the developed world, natural world and to all living things. We honour and invite the Atua to join us in this sacred mission and reinforce the intention with the ancient healing power of sound and vibration from the almighty gong.
Toitu te marae a Tane, Toitu te marae a Tangaroa, Toitu nga Iwi. – If the Realm of Tane is well, and the Realm of Tangaroa is well, then the People will be well.
[Tane: God of the forests and all that dwell therein. – Tangaroa: God of the oceans, seas, rivers and lakes.]
Kia kaha Papatuanuku – Stay strong Mother Earth
Earth Hour is an annual worldwide event uniting people of all ages and from all walks of life to protect our sacred Earth from climate change. It coincides each year on a Saturday in late March – during the Autumn/Spring equinox, in proximity of the near coincidental sunset times in both hemispheres. This year Earth Hour is celebrating its 10th year and will be celebrated on Saturday 25th March, coinciding with VOSE Festival!
As a symbol of participating commitment to our sacred Earth, households, communities, businesses, organisations and landmarks all over the globe turn off their non-essential lights and other non-essential electricity for one hour from 8:30 to 9:30pm local time. Beginning right here in Aotearoa.
“As the world stands at a climate crossroads, it is powerful yet humbling to think that our actions today will decide what tomorrow will look like for generations to come.” ~ earthhour.org
Session 2. Dyad – Personal Enquiry and Holding Space
Dyad is where two people sit facing each other a comfortable distance apart. In turn one individual asks the other a question. Once the question has been asked, one speaks while the other simply holds space, not reacting in any way, just respectfully listening, holding space and honouring each other for what we have to say about who we truly are. Dyad is not a conversation. In “normal” conversation we are almost always giving people an opinion or advice. We don’t often just listen. More often we listen with the intent to respond or reply, rather than with the intent to listen and understand. By holding space in Dyad we allow each other to stand in our own truth and be heard, without judgement, or interruption. Dyad personal enquiry is very profound as it provides answers and insights enabling you to remember the authentic you that your soul already knows. Voice your soul.
